PetDesk's FAQ and its Subscriber Terms disagree on the term; both are quoted below, and this page picks no side.

What do More Booked Paws and PetDesk each offer?

PetDesk's core product is software: its homepage, checked October 2026, presents "PetDesk Veterinary Engagement Software" covering reminders, online booking, two-way texting, digital forms, a pet-parent app, "PIMS-integrated Phones," and "AI-powered SOAP notes," and says it "connects directly to your PIMS."

The marketing arm is described as "a full-service, veterinary-specific digital marketing agency," listing SEO, social, Google PPC advertising, graphic design, reputation management, and email hosting, and saying "Let us build and manage your website"; its terms name Launch, Grow, and Content plans around hosted websites.

Its ads are Google PPC and remarketing; social is organic management on Facebook, Instagram, and X, with paid Meta ads not named on the pages checked.

More Booked Paws is narrower: one person, founder Gabe Meierotto, doing three things for US veterinary practices only.

More Booked Paws

  • CRO: one controlled test a month on the pages that lose bookings.
  • Local SEO: service and city pages, Google Business Profile work, citations, review guidance.
  • Managed Meta ads: 8–12 static image ads a month, landing pages built, one landing-page test a month.
  • Not offered: websites, Google Ads, software, CRM setup, video ads, social posting.

PetDesk

  • Marketing: SEO, Google PPC and remarketing, organic social, graphic design, reputation management, email hosting.
  • Websites: built and managed by PetDesk on its platform.
  • Not named on the pages checked: paid Meta (Facebook or Instagram) ads.

What do More Booked Paws and PetDesk cost?

More Booked Paws publishes every price on its pricing page: CRO $2,500 a month, local SEO $2,500 a month, both together $5,000 a month, and managed Meta ads $3,000 a month plus a one-time $2,500 setup.

Ad spend goes straight to Meta ($3,000 a month minimum), never marked up, with no per-lead pricing.

PetDesk does not publish prices: its FAQ answers "How much does PetDesk cost?" with "That depends on what you want! Reach out to our sales team."

No monthly fee, setup cost, or ad-spend arrangement is on its site, so a written quote is the only way to compare.

The fact sheet lists every More Booked Paws price and term on one page.

What contract and cancellation terms does each publish?

More Booked Paws runs a 6-month minimum on CRO and local SEO and a 3-month minimum on managed Meta ads.

After the minimum, every service runs month to month: cancel by email with 30 days' notice, no cancellation fee, final month delivered as usual.

PetDesk's FAQ says: "we don't require long-term contracts. We operate on month-to-month agreements. If you ever decide to cancel, simply provide a 30-day notice (which will take effect 30 days from your next invoice date)."

Its Subscriber Terms, effective August 3, 2026, say "The term of each Order Form for the Services shall be set forth on the Order Form"; if an order form ends for any reason other than PetDesk's breach, refunds are not provided and all fees for the entire term are due.

The binding term is whatever the order form says: read it before signing.

Who owns the accounts, the website, and the data?

With More Booked Paws, the practice owns its Meta ad account, pixel, and audiences (in its own Business Manager), plus its website, domain, Google Business Profile, analytics, and everything built.

PetDesk's terms assign the practice "the logo and media files and copy which are unique to Customer" once fees are paid, while PetDesk keeps rights in its "platforms, website, programs, software" and the site's customization.

On data, the same terms say "All rights and title in and to Customer Data belong to Customer," but the practice grants PetDesk an "unlimited, irrevocable, perpetual... transferable license" to use submitted data.

So a More Booked Paws engagement ends with the accounts and files a practice started with, and a PetDesk engagement ends with the practice's content on PetDesk's platform.

What results does each company publish?

This is where the gap is widest, and it favors PetDesk.

PetDesk publishes marketing case studies (self-reported), including Galaxy Cats Vet Center and Silver Maple Veterinary Clinic, which it says received 822 post-appointment reviews within a 12-month period.

Its pages also carry "Join over 12,000 veterinary practices," and the marketing page says "PetDesk Marketing grows your clinic 10%, increases client engagement 37%."

All of its published numbers, including the "$2 in revenue for every $1 you spend on Google Ads" figure that cites Google's economic impact report, are self-reported, not independently verified here.

More Booked Paws has no veterinary client results to publish: it was founded in 2026 and has no veterinary clients yet.

What it publishes instead is its founder's record: as Director of CRO at LaserAway from 2018 to 2023, Gabe Meierotto took sitewide conversion from 3% to 11% across 2,600+ variations tested, in a program that returned 210x.

Those are his numbers from that role at a med-spa chain, not veterinary results and not More Booked Paws results.

Neither company's past numbers predict yours, and More Booked Paws does not promise or guarantee results.

Should you pick PetDesk or More Booked Paws?

Pick PetDesk if:

  • You want its engagement software itself, not just a marketing vendor.
  • Your clinic already runs PetDesk software and wants one vendor for marketing too.
  • You want a hosted website built and managed by the same company.
  • You want Google pay-per-click and remarketing managed, which More Booked Paws does not do.
  • You want organic social, reputation management, graphic design, or email hosting in one package.

Pick More Booked Paws if:

  • Your gap is conversion: the site gets traffic and local searches, but not enough booked appointments.
  • You want managed Meta ads with landing pages built and tested; paid Facebook and Instagram ads are not named on PetDesk's checked pages.
  • You want map-pack visibility worked on directly.
  • You want every price visible before any call, on the pricing page.
  • You want terms published up front: PetDesk's order-form term is not published, while the fact sheet states minimums, notice, and ownership.
  • You want to keep the software, website, and ad accounts you already own, with nothing to migrate off a platform.

The wider field is compared by fit in the best veterinary marketing companies list.

Questions to ask either company

Whichever one you shortlist, get the answers in writing before signing anything.

  • What is the total monthly fee, any setup fee, and how is ad spend billed?
  • What is the minimum term in the contract I sign, and what notice does cancellation take?
  • What happens if we leave early: refund, fees owed, or nothing?
  • Who holds the ad accounts, domain, and Google Business Profile, and do we keep them?
  • If the website sits on your platform, what does moving it off cost?
  • Which published results come from named clients, and can we verify any?

Ask both companies every question on that list, including us.

The fastest first step here is the free audit: a prioritized plan within 3 business days, no call required, yours to keep.

If it says you need software, a new website, or Google Ads managed, PetDesk or another full-service option will fit better than we do.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between More Booked Paws and PetDesk?

PetDesk is a software company first: its core product is veterinary engagement software covering reminders, online booking, two-way texting, and a pet-parent app, and PetDesk Marketing sells SEO, Google pay-per-click, organic social, and hosted websites on top. More Booked Paws is a one-person consultancy selling three services, CRO, local SEO, and managed Meta ads, with no software of its own.

Is More Booked Paws better than PetDesk?

Neither is better for every practice; they sell different sizes of job. PetDesk fits a clinic that wants its engagement software plus a website, Google ads, and organic social from one vendor, while More Booked Paws fits one that already has its software and website and needs conversion, local visibility, or Meta ads worked on at a published price.

Do More Booked Paws and PetDesk publish their prices?

More Booked Paws publishes all of them: $2,500 a month for CRO or local SEO, $5,000 a month for both, and $3,000 a month plus a one-time $2,500 setup for managed Meta ads. PetDesk does not: as of October 2026, its FAQ answers the cost question with "That depends on what you want! Reach out to our sales team."

What contract terms does each company publish?

PetDesk's FAQ says it operates on month-to-month agreements with 30 days' notice, while its Subscriber Terms, effective August 3, 2026, say the term of each order form is set on that order form, with no refunds and all fees for the entire term due if it ends early for any reason other than PetDesk's breach. More Booked Paws runs a 6-month minimum on CRO and local SEO and a 3-month minimum on ads, then month to month by email with 30 days' notice and no cancellation fee.

Who owns the website and the ad accounts with each company?

With More Booked Paws, the practice owns its Meta ad account, pixel, audiences, website, domain, Google Business Profile, and analytics, and keeps every landing page, ad, test result, and report. With PetDesk, the practice is assigned its unique logo, media files, and copy once fees are paid, while PetDesk keeps its platforms, software, and the website customization, and the practice's data title sits alongside a broad license back to PetDesk.

Does More Booked Paws have case studies like PetDesk does?

No. More Booked Paws was founded in 2026 and has no veterinary client results to publish yet, which is a real gap in PetDesk's favor, since PetDesk publishes marketing case studies and self-reported numbers. The track record More Booked Paws shows is founder Gabe Meierotto's own, from his role as Director of CRO at LaserAway from 2018 to 2023.
